*****ing hard urned money
We enrolled our doughter on an open day at Embury Institute for Higher Education in Montana Pretoria. We paid a R400 admin fee which was not refundable and I asked the lady writing the receit for the R400 and the lady that assited us, that if we pay the registration fee of R10 000 if there would be any penalties payable if we decide not to study trough Embury? Both ladies not sitting at the same table said no( no penalties payable) you will receive the full amount back. And so we paid R10 000 to ensure her place at Embury. After 5 months she decided she would rather go to Potch university and I requested that my deposit be paid back to me and they only refunded me R8500 and said there is a R1500 admin fee payable. I phoned the lady that assisted us and I phoned head office and mails was send which was not yet rep**** since beginning of December 2017. Hard urned money just taken like that. So we paid R1900 for admin fee and the interest Embury earned from my money. This is how they are taking money from students that could have been used for studies.
