STADIO HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY UNIVERSITY LIFE.

STADIO has been the most disappointing educational institution I've experienced. Everything seemed so promising in the beginning until the final stretch and us learners being left to fend for ourselves. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Boston College in Umhlanga, and the support and concern STADIO provides for its students are nowhere near satisfactory. This lack of support, which I'll substantiate shortly, is particularly evident for learners enrolled in the PGCE program in January 2023. STADIO has failed to provide essential guidance, refusing to furnish proper exam scopes, or even a past paper but other learners from STADIO are receiving this? And this is for modules like EDSA and EDSB. In stark contrast, other students at STADIO enjoy comprehensive study outlines which I viewed today? leaving us without even a past paper after an upfront payment of R45,000. This absence of guidance and unresponsiveness to our emails is deeply regrettable.

We're expected to complete final assessments, work full-time to cover our studies' costs, and prepare for venue-based exams without any semblance of support. This university experience is far removed from my expectations and prior academic experiences. We're left to study entire textbook with minimal lecturer support, and our questions during support sessions are routinely evaded. This lack of support from higher authorities is disheartening, and it seems STADIO falls short of the standards expected from a university. This stark contrast to my experience at Boston College, which prioritized students' mental health and support, has left me profoundly disappointed.

If given the chance, I would have never chosen STADIO. My advice to others: if you seek reliable, supportive education that justifies the fees you pay, STADIO is not the place to study. The university's expectations, such as three consecutive exams immediately after teaching practicums and portfolio submissions, seem inhumane for distance learners striving to work and progress, keeping in mind that no one is willing to assist you. STADIO doesn't appear to be the institution that will genuinely help you reach your educational goals. My mental, emotional and physical well being has been compromised by this university.
