I registered for the Education bridge course so I can have it on my CV to be a teacher for Coding at our primary school, because I'm the IT coordinator with an electronic diploma from CPUT but bridge it with Stadio then I can be fulltime teacher for exam coding subject. I registered on the 23 of April and the closing date for registrations was the 28th of April. I registered for distance learning but they didn't discuss with me they put me in the full intake course, so I was then 2 and more months behind the full-time students of my course. The course cost is R30 000.00 and I needed 8 study materials. After registrations on the 28th of April Bookwise send me by email so they work with Stadio as the study material supplier. They gave me in the email the books I'm going to need and the cost and I paid it in full for the 8 materials. On the 4th of May, only 2 books arrived by courier at my home and they let me know the other 6 important study materials was not stock. So that means I start the course with a drawback big time. So 23rd was my registration and from the 24th of April till 2nd of May was 2nd term school holidays, so I started from 3rd of May my education course at Stadio. From the start the important assignments for each subject was closed and the lectures was heavy to open them, but I start to communicate with Dr Johan Redelinghuys that was the head of the Distance Learning Department and he asked all the lectures to open the important assignments for the distance learning students. So that was also waisting days, because it took a day or two. Our distance learning students did't even have a open day for training how to work with system and portal, but I figured it out... The whole time stuff was not comfortable and as student and I was not the only one that going through this process, because I have an email proof of a student that was in town next to me that he cant do an important assignment because Bookwise didn't supply his study materials as well. That important assignment was my decision that I'm not going to carry on with course and I send my cancel letter to Dr Johan Redelinghuys and secretary of the Bellville campus Liezel Barnado on the 10th of May. My contract that I signed on points 15.1 to 3 is the cancel days that we just get 14 days to cancel on calendar days. I registered 23 April, sudenly there was 2nd term school holidays from 24 April till 2nd of May and 3rd of May till my cancellation letter on 10th of May in working days is 23 April, 3rd of May till 10th of May = 8 days with out the holidays but with the holidays = 17 days, but they delayed us with this difficult time and the fact I didn't have all my study materials made me totally not at all comfortable student and yes Dr Redelinghuys said to the lectures that they must accommodate us to work without the books ,but they let us now to buy from other places but I paid expensive for my books and didn't have more money to buy more and waste that money and the assignments didn't they change that it doesn't get the information from important books that I didn't have, so that is why I decide to cancel my course. On the 6/7th of May, I have proof where I asked Liezel secretary from Bellville campus of Stadio to arrange that Dr. JOhan Redelinhuys must phone me but he didn't at all and on the 6th of May it was 13 days and 7th of May it was 14 days. After my cancellation letter, they didn't accept it because they say I'm longer than the 14 days and they done from their side to make me a comfortable student registered right to course and he asked the lectures to open the assignments and accommodate us with everyone that didn't get the books but all these stuff was I'm that emailed for support from him and this show that I was not at all comfortable, but if I didn't communicate with him, it was never opened and ask for us that don't have books to support us but they didn't at all support us because suddenly the assignments and assessments that was coming was all out the important study materials. Now they sent each month after the letter that I handed to Dr Johan Redelinhuys what he never phoned me and I asked a lot of times he must phone me what I have proof and I asked also the support of Distance Learning Mr Chris Houghton that he must phone me and he sms back and say his in meeting and will phone back ASAP but he didn't at all. The invoice each month of R27 500 get interest of R1390 each month so I must pay a R30 000 and more for a course what they didn't at all cancelled for me because they say I didnt cancelled in time, but they delayed me and their course was not comfortable at all for us for distance learning students that didn't get from their book supplier Bookwise and if it was 1 book not in stock, now it was 6 important books. I need help to sort Stadio out for this thing that they want money out of me what they haven't at all in my cancel time followed me up then to tell me they going to ask me the full amount.
