Stadio, a private instituion with a UNISA level of service....
I've been a student at this institution for a while and when i started, the process was seamless, people were great on calls and assisting. This year i had to re-register myself and the experiecne has never been so unpleasant. i spent 237mins on calling stadio in the last two weeks, those who deal with calls are very dismissive as you explain your situation, some even transfer you as you are explaining.
I started the process of paying the outstanding debt on the 27 feb and i was informed by charllote (finance) that Stadio had an issue with allocating funds and it took longer to allocate my payments so that registration can be processed. I sent the registration forms only after finance advised that money is allocated on the 5 Feb and they finalised it only when i had to call numerous times, getting feedback that "Thandeka will get to it", "She printed the forms and will stii capture it", "She will go home with her laptop and work on it after hours".
After she confirmed that registration is done and that I will get my study material on canvas. i waited and learned when i had to call again that my canvas is locked, Its another struggle to get IT support to unlock it and Stadio's despatch departments also are unable to send, via email soft copies so i can start with my work. its a poor service that i got as a distance learner based in PE. I read on groups that students who are able to reach the stadio campuses such as krugersdorp get assistance easier but what about Distance learners such as myself. its a pathethic service, the standards have dropped and I am getting a UNISA level of service at a private institution, imagine!! Total BS!!!
