Just another average SA varsity. What did I expect?

It’s an okay place to study. It’s very messy and disorganised. You’ll find that on your calendar it’ll say, “Test due at 11:59 tomorrow night,” and then you wake up the next morning and they tell you the test starts at 9:00am. Everything chops and changes; due dates appear and change out of nowhere. They need some serious project management implementation, which I believe, and I stand to be corrected, they may have diverted their operations management funds to marketing.

Their student platform, Canvas, is HORRIBLE. Ironic, considering I’m studying software development. Canvas could definitely use some development, to say the least.

The lecturers are okay, nothing special, apart from maybe one or two. The modules and content are outdated. I’m studying Software Development, but they include a course on Excel, Word and PowerPoint basics? “Make this text bold.” “Highlight cell E3.” “Insert picture.” Really?

I’m very happy I only chose to do a Higher Certificate here. Don’t listen to and fall for all the marketing , it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The reality is quite different.
