Inflated Fees
I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction regarding an inaccurate statement of account that I recently received. Upon reviewing the statement, I noticed several discrepancies that do not align with my records or the transactions I have made. These inaccuracies have caused me considerable distress and confusion. Specifically, the issues I identified include: 1. Prior to my course registration, I was owing the university any amount of R1000, as justified by the letter of demand. 2. I have made a total payment of R12170 into the university account, and the new Course fees as per the statement amount to R12900 inclusive of registration, course fees & accreditation fees. 3. However, for some reason the statement shows that I am still owing R3895.01, which I don’t understand is for what? R12***0= R730 owing balance added together with the previous course owning balance makes it: R1730. Another issue returning students pay R970, but I was charged R1800; This situation is causing undue stress and impacting my ability to manage my finances effectively.
