Don’t consider Stadio for your PGCE

I’m enrolled as a distance learning part-time PGCE student at Stadio. It’s compulsory to complete a one-year African language module. My one-year isiXhosa module started in July 2022 and I’m supposed to finish June 2023. BUT our lecturer was removed in October 2022 without any communication or feedback from them. We completed 2 assignments that were graded. We have had NO classes up until today?! On 21 April 2023 we received our very first announcement. ‘Stadio is busy addressing this issue’. Our last online test was scheduled for 16 May. It was removed without any announcement. Sometime later this year we received our second announcement: ‘We shouldn’t lose hope’. Two weeks back we received our last announcement: A new isiXhosa lecturer was appointed and a catch-up programme will be communicated … I am sick and tired of Stadio’s pathetic service delivery!!! I paid in full for this compulsory year module BEFORE classes started in 2022. I am supposed to be finished with this module end of June 2023?! NO communication from the ‘new’ lecturer. NO plan. NO service delivery. NO nothing.
