Disregard for concerns of a student with learning disabilities and lack of communication
I have been trying to get hold of STADIO via telephone for two days to follow up on the outcome of a concession application for my daughter that is starting her first year with STADIO as a distance learning student. She works full time and therefor I am contacting the institution to ask a few more question. I at last, got to speak to Vandhana Avathar from the Musgrave campus this morning. Upon asking Vandhana a few tough questions, being cut-off in our conversation by her repeating herself and not allowing me to finish what I am saying or asking, it was suggested by Vandhana that I put my concerns in writing. I did exactly that. I sent an email to Malcolm Buys, who I was told would be the person that will be helping my daughter going forward asking him to contact me (I also tried to call him, with no success) as I had some further question regarding my daughters concession application outcome and how it all works. He rep****, via email telling me that after speaking to Vandhana, that he could not assist me and that I should contact the Registrar of STADIO. Tell me STADIO, do you prefer to hide behind screens and not deal with you paying customers rather than having a human conversation? Also, we were contacted continuously to make payment and sign-up but once that process was completed we are made to feel like just another brick in the wall to wealth. And lastly, is this how STADIO wants to treat a student that already had to struggle for 12 years of school education to not feel like and outcast due to their learning disabilities?
