CHRIS HOUGHTON, AN ASSET TO STADIO

I recently got involved at a secondary school in my district and realised that my true passion and "calling was in the classroom. I had previously studied a Bachelor of Commerce through a well-known (but tedious) distance learning university and had to find a way to follow my bliss. I frantically searched for a different distance learning institution to make my dreams a reality.

I tried to contact the university and spoke to a student recruiter but the communication was poor, if there was any at all, and my future became even more uncertain... until I found Christopher's email address. The moment I contacted him things just started happening. He got the ball rolling and in no time, I was accepted for my PGCE and now eagerly awaiting registration to be finalized.

In all my years in the service/hospitality industry, people like Chris are far and few between. He was kind, understanding and accommodating. He never left an email unanswered (unlike other STADIO employees), if he didn't know the answer he quickly contacted the relevant departments that did and got back to me. He made me feel seen in an industry where I am just a number.

Chris, you have been incredible! You are an asset to Stadio and you deserve the recognition. I had heard that Stadio's communication is poor which makes studies harder, naturally, but if my experience going forward is anything like my interactions with you, I would highly recommend Stadio in the future.

I now look forward to my studies in this academic year. I'm excited to fulfill my dream and my passion...all thanks to Chris!
