STADIO Inconsistent Support Hindering Students Academic Success

I am this writing this review to formally express my concern as a student in my 5th year with STADIO, and dissatisfaction regarding the lack of academic support and ongoing organisational challenges experienced this semester. The semester commenced, yet the Learning Management System (LMS) has not been functioning effectively. There have been significant issues with restricted access to Saturday video recordings and study materials, with some modules only being uploaded weeks after the official start of Semester 1. Despite raising these concerns, the IT department has been unable to provide meaningful assistance, and lecturers have indicated that they are unable to resolve these access issues as well.

Furthermore, assignment deadlines have not been adjusted to accommodate these challenges. As students, we are now under considerable pressure to meet deadlines despite not having had timely access to the necessary materials, hindering our academic success. This situation is both unfair and academically compromising, as the delays were entirely beyond our control. STADIO sets extremely high standards for us as students, however we do not receive even the most basic support, communication, or consideration.

In addition, there has been a lack of clear communication regarding assessments. Assignments are being shared via announcements without proper documentation or detailed guidelines, rubrics and instructions provided. Saturday classes have been inconsistent and are not being recorded in certain modules which defeats the purpose of Distance Learning. These classes were not recorded, leaving students without any reference material and creating situations where expectations are unclear and subject to change. As it already has, which causes panic and confusion among students. This is not the standard STADIO has set over the last 4 years. It has never been done this way or acceptable in the past. I am also concerned about the level of support provided by lecturers. Responses to emails raising legitimate concerns have been dismissive and, at times, unprofessional, even when evidence has been provided. Weekly support session are not communicated, but rather a day of the week is unofficially given in unrecorded classes with no link or time. Moreover, there appears to be no structured academic support available for Saturday sessions, leaving students without guidance when it is most needed. Jeopardizing our academic success and abilities as students. These ongoing issues are negatively impacting both the learning experience and student well-being. I respectfully request that the university: Address and resolve LMS access issues as a matter of urgency Ensure all study materials and recordings are made available promptly Review and adjust assignment deadlines where access has been delayed Provide official clear, consistent, and documented assessment guidelines Improve lecturer communication and professionalism Ensure adequate academic support is available to students I trust that these concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly to ensure a fair and supportive academic environment.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
