Try's to charge you for nothing

I took my phone in for a free screen repair. First they called me and said it wasn't under warranty, but it was, and then later called back and said it was the LCD and wanted to charge me for fixing it . I went there myself knowing it wasn't broken. Checked it myself and it wasn't broken. Same happend to a lady which walked in there right after me they told her her speaker didn't work she came to check herself and it worked. So they are trying to charge us for nothing.
