Completely *********** - just go elsewhere

i have bee struggling since march to update my phone to the latest OS for my note 4 (5.0.1) when i do, my phone boots up but i am unable to receive phone calls. My phone simply freezes and i am forced to remove the battery in order to get my phone working again. this upgrade has rendered my phone useless. smart care store in Woodmead reverted to 4.4.4<br> <br> i have taken it to the smart care store (SSS cellular) in Boksburg and spent a total of 4 hours fighting with them on this issue. first they told me that 5.0.1 is not available and when i showed them on my phone that there is an update waiting to be installed (5.0.1). they say that they do not have the ROM and cannot assist, but have kept my phone to do an imei rewrite because woodmead flashed the UAE version of 4.4.4 onto my device and they believe this is causing the problem. i have already explained to them that this has notyhing to do with it but they will not listen. this is a hardware problem with my device but no one will acknowledge it.<br> <br> what i want is a working note 4 running 5.0.1 (as indicated as the latest version). I cannot understand why this request is so difficult.
