Worst Spur branch EVER!!!!

<p> My friend and I went to Rosebank's Texakhana Spur on Sa****ay. Our drinks took over 10 minutes to arrive, even though my friend ordered a still water. We placed our order for starters and that was fine but I noticed that the waiter, (who did not even introduce himself) did not come around to our table to see that everything was still fine or if we needed anything, which is something the waiters at other Spur's do. Eventually he comes to take our main order. I ordered hot veg but just the side of creamed spinach. The food arrives and along with the creamed spinach, I get pumpkin, ater specifically asking for JUST creamed spinach. My friend ordered a steak-medium rare but when it arrived it was RAW (pink,uncooked)!!! the outside seemed as though it was seared for a few seconds but the inside was unedible. Besides that, it looked as though it had been just thrown on the plate, no effort. I understand the fact that Spur no longer offers garnish as it was going to waste but this way, it looks unnapealing. Ever heard of the term "you eat with your eyes"? The beef ribs I ordered were very fatty and half cold, the onion rings I ordered tasted old. There were no wetwipes or lemon water as done at other Spurs. The waiter was still floating around, not checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Eventually the manager comes floating around and I called him over. I showed him the raw steak and the big lump of flour in the "white sauce" of my creamed spinach, also informing him about the fact that I only ordered spinach as well as the fact that the waiter seemed very uninterested. I dont think he was very impressed that I complained but just nodded politely and agreed. My friend got a new steak, half the size and thickness of the previous one they gave her. </p> <p>Only once I complained did the waiter start showing forced interest. When I asked for a doggy bag, the manager and our waiter were at the table, speaking a language neither me or my friend understood. Who knows what they were saying? </p> <p>We both have decided never ever to return to this Spur branch as we feel we could have had a more satisfying meal at KFC or any of the surrounding restaurants in Rosebank, rather than pay the amount we did for ****ty service and food at Spur!</p>
