What bad service

Good day,

On the 29th of October (my sons 1st birthday) I took my family out to the Spur in Westwood mall. I was very disappointed at n the service at this place, from the time we walked to the door the entire staff at the door did not greet us or offer us a place to sit. We were only attended to once we were inside looking for a place to sit, the outlet was not even full and the staff was all standing at the door but no one cared to even greet us or welcome us in.

Upon sitting we were approached by our waiter for the day who was not competent, this guy took 20minutes to give us our drinks and when we ordered food he brought the food in in drips and drabs. He only gave us water to wash our hands after I asked for it 15 minutes after delivering the food and when we ordered additional drinks these took forever and the glass was not even clean, I mean really.

Also there was an employee or her lunch break inside the store having her bananas and lunch box right next to us, inside the restaurant and the manager kept walking past her like everything was ok.

For some reason there was a disciplinary meeting happening because we were watching employees have this meeting and doors banging, right there with us trying to have our lunch. The manager did not even once ask us how our meal was and he literally walked passed us 8 times (I counted), some of the employees were making noise about the disciplinary proceedings. It was so unprofessional.

I asked the guys if they could sign to my son (a point I had made when I entered) this also took forever after we finished our food, we had to wait for the waiter to come back and do this, we were sitting there for another 10 minutes for this.

I really think this is not acceptable of you consider that the outlet was empty at the time as it was a Sunday afternoon, the staff and management have no professionalism and sense of urgency in this place.
