Utah Spur - ********** service

My husband and I found ourselves at the Utah Spur this morning for breakfast. The service left a lot to be desired.

It started off well when the waiter introduced himself and took our order, from there it all went down hill. A couple was seated by the same waiter about 15 minutes after us and were served their drinks before us as well. The waiter came to our table with a coffee (not what my husband ordered) and a peach ice tea as I ordered. The ice tea arrived in its can with no glass and no straw. The waiter then walked to the next table of ladies and proceeded to take their order. I happened to eventually spot the manager and asked him for a glass and the drink that my husband had ordered. He brought the glass for me and a glass of water for my husband, followed 5 minutes later by another glass of water from the waiter. When he saw there was a glass of water already he set it down on the table of the group of ladies who hadn't ordered any water.

The food arrived from a different much to our dismay without a place mat or cutlery which was pointed out by this waiter as well but who did absolutely nothing about it. We then waited another 10 minutes for cutlery and still no place mat. By then our food was ice cold.

The manager seemed to be lurking in the back and now too afraid to even look at us. There was a group of customers standing at the front waiting to pay and nobody was at the front desk.

This experience was absolutely horrific I was shocked to say the least. We ate our breakfast as quick as we good just to get out there. The bill came and the waiter looked at me and the bill and asked me how much. I said the exact amount on the bill. He looked a bit angry, but no way were we going to give a gratuity for a job done poorly. We were charged extra for toast, I was not aware that toast was extra as the menu states that toast comes with the unreal breakfast that we ordered. I was too livid to even challenge that and I wouldn't even be able to find the manager.

The manager did nothing about the service and the waiter didn't really seem to care either.

Really disappointing Utah Spur.
