Unhappy Birthday

<p>Last Saturday (8th June), I made a booking for my daughter's 2nd birthday party for the next day at 1pm. I was assured that all would be taken care of as everyone was paying for themselves and we would need several waiters to take all the orders etc. What an absolute nightmare. We waited ages for anyone to appear, my wife, after tasting that her wine was corked, ordered a sprite (which never arrived), in fact, the offending wine wasn't even removed from the table. After complaining over and over about various other things, we decided to pay and leave. But let me say: if I'd known that 20 per cent off the bill meant my little girl would leave without an ice cream, without being sung to and no balloon, I would have kept quiet. Thank you Spur, for the heartbreaking little tears. </p>
