Twin peak spur in ottery is the worse Spur ever

Worse experience ever at Spur in Ottery Hyper. We dont have much halaal spurs in CPT so when you find yourself eating at the same spurs often and heard there is another 1 we said lets try it out...

I ordered the cheesy garlic prawn and steak combo and i was hungry so i took the 300g.. I ordered a medium rare steak on a hot plate and asked the waitress to please ask them not to put the cheesy prawns on the steak to please put it separately which is how i have it every time.. I dont like the taste of the cheese and garlic sauce mixed with the bbq basting with the steak but i like them on its own.. Best of both worlds...

Lol they bring me my steak and it has the cheesy garlic sauce over the steak and the prawns are laying dry in a saucer separately 😅😅.. Ive been doing this for yeeeaaarrrss and its the first time i have ever come accross something like this... Like did the chef or anyone not ask themselves... does what im doing here make sense...???

I tried to eat the steak because i didnt want to be that guy.. I had a couple bites to see if i can stomach the taste all together and i couldnt... i tried s****ing the sauce off but i could still taste it so i called my waitress.. Noku.. Sweet girl.. But ai.. I told her im sorry and tried to eat it but cant... its like 10minz later and remember my steak is on a hot plate.. i told her.. I know i ate a few bites so even if they replace it with a 200g steak i will accept it.. She comes back with the same steak on a new hot plate and she wants me to try it.. When i asked what she did with it she rep**** we rinced it in basting sauce to get the cheesy taste out and put more basting on and put it on a hot plate... So now I'm eating a steak with no seasoning, No flame grilled taste, no taste from the oils that comes out the steak and mixes with the basting... Just a steak with bbq sauce.. I taste the steak which is no longer medium or rare and i couldnt taste the garlic taste anymore but i still wanted another steak and i explained to her by the time i get to the 2nd half of the steak it will be dry and she was like eish im sorry.. I ate a couple bites and i just couldnt anymore because it was already so dry.. So i left my food in the plate and went to play with my son instead. It was my wifes birthday and what supposed to have been a nice family lunch turned into this catastrophic experience.. No empathy, No care in the world. As long as they say sorry with a smile they good to go.. The staff cannot even read their clients unless their rampaging in the store... When they come accross calm clients who speak nicely they tend to take advantage. I atleast expected them to give me a fresh steak considering that i ordered my steak medium to rare and with all the time it took my steak was no longer up to standards..
