The eisbeins we received were of poor quality.

We went to eat at Spur in Bethal of the 27th of February 2016 and the Eisbein we were served was just shocking. It was cut open (probably to cook it faster) which resulted in it being dry. In spite of being advertised as smoked, the meat was clearly not smoked. The colour was also a dark brown instead of the usual pink. No sweet mustard was served (which to my knowledge is custom at Spur) and when we asked for sweet mustard we were informed that the do not provide it. The worst of all is that this is not the first time it happened at this particular Spur. Everytime we have a hope that it will be better as other Spurs provide good quality meat and this Spur should be no different. We were utterly disappointed with the quality of meat and we would really not recommend this Spur to friends and family going in this direction.
