Terrible service

Mom took me out for my Birthday today for dinner. We ordered waffles but were told that they will take 45 minutes for them to be ready because they only have one machine. How is that possible? For a reputable place like this? Its upsetting because we now have to leave unsatisfied... Im furious. The manager offered us a peppermint tart that was stale for4 of us to share. Then brought two half waffles that were underdone and full of baking powder. I left without eating it...im angry on my birthday
