Terrible experience at Spur in Jeffreys Bay

On Saturday, 29 June 2021, I took my family to Spur Steak Ranch in Jeffreys Bay. We were greeted and seated. The waiter serving us, just came and stood next to the table. Not introducing himself, nor asking what we would like to order.

I ordered 2 beers and two milkshakes, asking him to first bring the beers before preparing the shakes. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks, as he didn't do as I requested by preparing the shakes before bringing the beer.

Each time I wanted to order anything, I had to either wave down another waiter or go to request assistance from the front desk.

After finishing our meals, I again had to go the the front desk to request the bill. I reported the situation to the manager, but she wasn't very keen to assist me. I handed them my Spur card in order for the points to be loaded. The manager then informed me that this was a new card and still had to be registered. I have used this particular card since the Spur cards were introduced a couple of years ago.

We had a terrible experience and I doubt if I will be going there again soon/ ever!
