Terrible experience at Biloxi Spur Baywest Port Elizabeth

<p>Terrible experience!</p> <p>What was suppose to be a peaceful breakfast with family on Easter Friday turned into a unpleasant noisy and extremely frustrating morning.</p> <p>We were placed at table 50. The only table left big enough for six people and a baby. At table 51 a family of about 10 people was squashed in (including kids). While we were waiting for our food people kept joining table 51. They stood in the passage making it difficult for the waiters or anyone else to pass by. The men all had beer in their hands. One of the gentleman was so "drunk" and couldn't properly stand on his own two feet. He kept staring at us with hateful eyes! The people at table 49 left and guess what? Some of the people of table 51 moved to table 49. (Without even telling/asking a waiter?) Leaving us in the middle or their party. Needless to say, the rest of our breakfast was filled with people of table 49 shouting over our heads to the people of table 51. Thy were literally yelling at each other and spilling their beer all over the place. I choose not to expose my one year old to this unacceptable behavior of adults.</p> <p>We finished our breakfast (in a hurry to get out of this place!) and asked for the bill. We did not want to make a scene as we did not want another "Spur incident". At reception I asked to speak to the manager. She came to us and I politely asked if she understood Afrikaans as I feel that it would be easier for me to express my displeasure in my mother language. She rudely said no and called someone who understood Afrikaans.</p> <p>I feel that if you are a manager the least that you can do is TRY to be bilingual?<br />AND as a manager you should be VISIBLE on the floor of your restaurant to make sure that your customers are happy and that the above complaints aren't necessary.</p> <p>Terrible experience that will sadly make us not come back!</p> <p>Heidi Strauss</p> <p><br /><br /></p>
