Sunset Bay Spur - Shocking bad food

Yesterday my husband and I went for late lunch at this branch. We where seated and drinks order was taken. Service was quick out the blocks and drinks where on the table. Waiter took our order and we where and within 15 minutes the food was on our table.

Now for me this was exceptional service (timeline) but oh boy there was a reason for this. My husband got the platter consisting of pork ribs, chicken, wors and lamb chop. I got a double cheese burger.

When my husband dug into his food, the ribs was hard (from re heating) and dry. The wors tasted like droë wors. No taste in the chicken. All of the foods he literally took a bite out of not believing that everything was either cold or dry but drenched in sauce.

My burger tasted like 2 oversized cardboards on buns. As I am trying to soldier it down I asked the waiter for some condiments and he brought a bottle of bbq sauce which I am sure was watered down. Spoiled my appitite immediately.

The service was quick but obviously there was a reason for the quick service "Prepared ahead" was all I got out of the manager whom tried to justify the horrible quality of food presented.

Now in the time of Covid-19 we as consumers are trying to support the brands we have grown so fond of over the years, yet there is no excuse to stoop to very sub standard quality of food.
