Suace spoilt meal

I went to the Sunset Bay spur a week ago and ordered a waffle for take away and I specifically went there because i wanted golden syrup and the first Spur (Tallahassee Spur) I had went to had turned me away because they didn't have it. So anyway, i got my waffle and left only to discover once i got home that the syrup was full of sugar. And this only after i had poured it out onto the waffle. The waffle was completely spoilt, it was grainy, and it felt like i was chewing on glass. I eventually threw it out and i felt totally done in because i was already at home and just didn't have the energy to drive back. <br> I emailed spur to complain and a call centre agent called me back to tell me they had received the complaint and someone from Sunset bay spur would be in touch with feedback. I have yet to receive communication from spur. I feel ****** because i drove to 2 different Spurs, that's petrol i could have used for something else, and on top of that the meal i went there for, i could not even enjoy because of the bad quality of the food.
