Spur Steak Ranches "past sell by date" freezer promotions

I am convinced that when Spur Steak Ranches have specials it is definitely not fresh quality foods but rejects freezer burnt, expired sell by dates and junk foods. On two occasions my wife and I have been to the Manitoba Spur situated in the Pinehurst shopping mall in Durbanville. The first during latter half of 2020 under Covid19 restrictions. We had a sit down steak special with the normal chips and onion rings. After two bites my wife complained that her steak was not fresh, tasted dry, streaky and more like biltong. I experienced the same. The only tasty bit was the basting. Needless to say we returned both meals. My wife rejected the offer of a second serving as she had lost her appetite. I on the other hand accepted the offer to my disappointment as the second steak was exactly the same and returned. The manager on duty a lady, stated that there had been previous complaints about the quality of the steak which they as management will have to take up with suppliers. Fortunately we were not charged but offered to pay for refreshments. Today again at the same Manitoba Spur, I had a spare rib 400g special. The same *******, dry, streaky, not fresh, poor quality. The meat instead of falling off the bone was glued to it and hard. Having false teeth, biting and fighting with the meat to get it off the bone hurt and bruised my pallate. Needless to say I did not finish it but took it home for my dog to enjoy or hoped he would. This spare rib must have been in the freezer for over a year most probably because of resturants lock down closures. So instead of feeding this ******* to animals and financially not benefit, Spur Steak Ranches sell this on a special promotion to gullible humans. Even their Monday waffle special has become paper thin. Clearly Spur Steak Ranches has strategised to serve this ******* as a promotion rather than lose economically.
