SPUR STEAK RANCH - THE ATRIUM OVERPORT-DISGUSTING SERVICE

I visited the Spur at the Atrium (Overport City)-Durban and the service I received was anything but EXTREMELY BAD. The waiter seated me and left me aside for over half an hour he then came to me asked me if I wanted to have something to drink and for my mains order, I rep**** that I would like to have something to drink but I wanted to order a cheesy garlic roll. He took another half an hour to bring the horrible garlic roll and my hot choc which was cold!!I order my mains which took what seemed like an hour to get to me, it was cold, tasteless and dry, the reason for this according to the waiter was that the grill was not working properly. I asked to see a manager and the waiter then disappeared and did not come back to me neither did the waiter. The flies in the restaurant was so bad, eventually I asked for the bill and I asked again for the manager who did not show up...yet again the waiter disappeared, I saw another staff member and according to him he was also one of the managers, I relayed the story to him, he took away the chicken and promised that he was going to replace it with a "freshly cooked" chicken, which he was going to pack it so that I could take it away, only for me to go home and when I opened it, it was the same old chicken just re-basted with some horrid sauce over it, this was inedible, we had to throw it away. The service was pathetic, the manager was non existent, the food was disgusting. As a family we used to love going to the Spur at the Atrium but after yesterday, we will never ever go back! The restaurant was filthy and there were those horrible green flies all over! So disgusted and disappointed!!!!
