Spur Steak Ranch Louis Trichardt pathetic service

You can not speak about service at Spur Steak ranch in Louis Trichardt as it does not exist there. On 6/4/2019 my children called us to join them at Spur for breakfast. We have just entered Mike’s but left for spur. We arrived there at 10:20. Coming in with us were 2 other couples. After about 10 minutes a waiter finaly took our order, 2 plain breakfasts, a cup of coffee and a cup of tea. By then my children have already ordered their food, having arrived there at 10:00. They haven’t received anything though. We waited and waited! The waiter passed us again after about 20 minutes and asked about our coffee and tea. Oh no, he have not forgotten us, he will bring it now. ? By 10:50 my son got up and went to the kitchen, asking about their order, our coffee and tea and our breakfast order. Oh no, it will be there now. Hahaha, what a joke. By then none of the people that have entered the restaurant at the same time of us had received anything of their orders as well. They finally brought a gentelman that was sitting opposite us his food but he returned it with disgust within 5 minutes of getting it. The mangeress came past us and I told her that we were now already waiting just for our coffee and tea for nearly . She appologized and said she is trying to get everything in control. They brought the orders for my kids just after that and when my son bit into his food he got something that looked like hair and bristles in his food. He returned his food immediately. We still waited and waited but by 11:10 we left without having our breakfast or coffee and tea! As we reached the door the waiter told my husband to wait, they will bring the orders, but we refused and left because I still had to go and buy a gift for a stork tea I had to attend at 12:00. We got to Back to the mall in Louis Trichardt by 11:15 and my husband went back to Mikes to see if he could still just get a coffee and some food while I went into another shop to buy the gift. At 11:35 I found my husband in Mikes, he got his food and coffee and finished it within 20 minutes! What a difference in service!

We will never ever support the Spur again. They have absolutely no clue as to what the word “service” means. And to top it all, when my kids got the bill they have actually added the 2 breakfasts and coffee and tea onto the bill, and when told to immediately remove it, they said they will send it in a doggy bag!!! Utterly disgusting service!
