Spur Soneike

<p>On 11/06 our family went to the Spur to get dessert and for the kiddies to play. We ordered and the kids ice cream cones arrived before the dessert. While they were enjoying the ice cream, my wife noticed something on my daughter's ice cream. On closer inspection and she realised it was actually a maggot or some kind of small worm. My daughter had then licked the ice cream and this maggot was on her mouth! We didn't make a big deal about it, we notified the waiter and manager, and cancelled our order. The manager took my wife's details and promised to call her the Monday and give an explanation , once he's spoken to the supplier. That call was not forthcoming and I realise now that this is pathetic, considering we didn't even get angry about the maggot.</p> <p>To receive that kind of disgusting ordeal and then for them not to even bother making contact is not acceptable. We have pictures, as well as video of this maggot (which was still alive and moving), and as you know in this day and age people post these type of things directly to social media without giving the company a chance. We didn't! But we do expect an apology/explanation....not because we requested it BUT because thats what the manager insisted he would do and he didn't. This comes down to a matter of principle, and also a need to know how something like this could be avoided in future.</p> <p> </p>
