Spur Plumstead shocker

After a year, we decided to visit the Plumstead Western Cape spur for Monday burger night. Our food was shocking, my daughter had stone hard mac n cheese, our burger meals were ********** and this was after an hour wait. We asked for our kids milkshakes three times before it was brought to the table AFTER our meals arrived. When we complained we received an apology and explanation that 7 people hadn't arrived for their shift. I completely understand that staff let you down but you should manage your clients expectations and make sure they are communicated with and taken care of. Had I been told there would be a wait and checked on I would have been relaxed or could have made a decision to come back another evening. My kids were hungry and miserable, served disgusting food and my waiter was avoiding complaints so went awol. This was not a meal worth paying for!
