Spur- Managers need training on Customer Care!!!
Wow, where do I begin??
I had dinner at your Spur Branch in Newlands (Corner Main Road and Dean Street). I ordered the Friday Special of a rump steak, and regular soda for R99(Friday,30th March, 5:30pm). Upon finishing my meal, there was a fatty and UNCOOKED piece of meat on my steak. Emphasis on UNCOOKED... When my waiter collected my plate I showed him the remaining pice of meat and he agreed that it was uncooked. About 15 minutes later the Manager (female) came to apologize and I tod her I do not feel satisfied paying a FULL bill if I only received 90% of my meal. The Kitchen Manager (male) came to apologize and he once again agreed it was fatty and UNCOOKED.
A few minutes later I was waiting for my bill, no luck, I went to approach the reception area to query the progress of my bill, he sarcastically asked me "Is everything OK ma'am?" I told him I was not happy, and I don't see the fairness in paying a full bill for an incomplete and unsatisfactory meal. He laughed and said "But ma'am it was only a small piece of fat". I was appalled! How can some one who is in a managerial role be so ********? What if I had consumed that "small piece of fat" and fall sick? What would he say then?
I am still in shock that not only had I had to pay the FULL bill but the way the manager dealt with the situation. Maybe he thought I'd be intimated as a young female, for whatever reason but this needs to be dealt with in a serious manner!
I am not happy AT ALL!!!!
I would like a representative to call me back ASAP.
