Spur Malvern- Disappointing service and good!!!

My partner and I went to Spur Malvern on the 28th February 2021. Upon entry we were guided to an available table, which was table 22. We sat down and were handed menus by our waitress. We had decided on drinks the first thing that upset me was when I asked for Almond milk in my coffee, I was told they don’t do it. So I opted for an Americano. We were a little indecisive on the specials we wanted to order and I was attending to a work message and the waitress rolled her eyes at me whilst taking the order down like rushing us to do so. I work in the service industry and that isn’t the way to treat customers. We ordered our food and it was the most disappointing meal ever. The steak was over cooked because the waitress didn’t even ask us how we wanted our steak done. The chicken was dry and doused in a peri peri sauce which had no flavor. The veggies on my plate were even more disappointing. The cream spinach was just piled on my plate and had absolutely no salt. The butternut was absolutely bland. Throughout our meal the waitress was nowhere to be seen as we wanted to order another drink. She came to us finally at the end of our meal. Service level is non existent. To make matters worse when we were done eating and wanted our bill, again the waitress was nowhere to be seen. Even though we were bitterly disappointed we did our civil duty paid our bill,gratuity and left.

I can tell you one thing definitely for sure we will never be returning to Spur Malvern. We have been going to Galleria and Chatsworth branch for years and never been disappointed.
