spur gift card
Hi, I purchased a spur gift card to the value of R100. The first time I used the gift card was for value of R88 making my remaining balance R12. On my next vist to Spur i wanted to pay my bill with the R12 remaning balance o the gift card and the rest cash. I was told the spur gift card can only be swiped in increments of R50. What a load of bull. If this was the case why was my card swiped for R88 in the first place.

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concern with us. We do apologise that the incorrect information was communicated to you. It's seems the person was confused, you can only load/reload a voucher in increments of R50 but you can definitely claim any amount from the gift card, as long as the remaining balance is sufficient to cover the amount you want deducted.
We will address this with the owner/operator of the store so that he can make sure that all staff knows how the gift card works and that the correct information is communicated to customers.
We do apologise for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused.
