Spur dont accept their own vouchers.
So I had a complaint about a voucher http://hellopeter.com/spur-steak-ranches/complaints/spur-does-not-know-how-to-use-their-own-products-*** . Today I was in east london and phoned Wykato Spur. I ordered two Spur Burgers. When I get there they only had one ready even though I confirmed my order twice. And when it came time to pay I said I have this voucher I still need to use and the waitress told me that they dont accept vouchers for take aways. Why the hell not, its my voucher which I paid for its the second spur who have turned me away with this voucher. Why did you even bring them out if not to accept them??? I was horribly dissapointed in the food as well. Chips where bearly cooked and they didnt bother to give us any spices. I used to love spur now it seems they are all going downhill.
Thank you for raising this with us, it's a concern to read that you were told that you can't use your voucher for a take-away order. The R50 loyalty voucher on a family card is considered as cash and can be used as a discount off any meal. The only rule when using the voucher is that the bill amount must equal or exceed the voucher value as no change can be given from the voucher.
We will definitely address this with the owner/operator of the Wykato Spur so that staff can ensure that they are providing the customers with correct and accurate information. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
