Spur Burger Patties: saltless and tasteless

Luv Spur Burger. Was excited to find Spur Burger Patties for sale at supermarket. But what a disappointment. No salt or seasoning to taste, that dreaded 'cardboard' taste. Bleak. Bland. Totally tasteless. *** Apparently cannot, like other brands of patties, be eaten 'as is'. Therefore also need to buy and use the special Spur sauces as well. Patties have an unexpected pinkish color as well. After questioning about this, was contacted by a very friendly Josh Abrahams, also received e-mail stating: The product is 100 % pure beef ...To make the claim its 100 % pure beef - we CANNOT ADD SALT, SEAsoning or extenders. The box makes reference to season to taste during the appropriate cooking method. <br> We also hint at using our seasoning salt and our grill basting to get that great \spur taste'<br> Josh Abrahams<br> Thus explaining the tastelessness of the product as is.
