Simple doggy bag

On the 2nd Nov I was at spur menlyn, while waiting for my partner and her friend to finish shopping. Saw a chance to escape and watch rugby final and chiefs and "pie-rats" match too..

Ordered the full chicken that come with ribs and chips. I wasn't really hungry and so I didn't really eat much, I just wanted the drinks and games, the food was for later and also the ladies. The food was so so FRESH, THE BEST I've had In any spur restaurant.

And so I asked for a doggy bag thinking I'd have that at home. To my shock when I get home there was only quarter chicken left, and nothing else. And I was defeated and very disappointed. I paid 200 if not mistaken just for my meal, spent about 700 for everyone else's food and drinks and even tipped well only to end up with a quarter chicken.

Now this is a lesson to me that I should check my food before I leave and never rely that the employees will pack my food the way I asked. I don't expect anything back, and no one to lose their job over this, just please teach your waiters not to decide what we want and don't want.. I always and prefer menlyn spur over others and I'm extremely busy can't be there all the time but I do drive that distance because of the quality of food there, and to host family and friends and colleagues when around.
