Rude Spur Ocean’s Manager

I recently attended a birthday party at one of your Spur locations, situated near Oceans Mall and Pearls. The celebration was for my friend’s 2-year-old son, and we selected this venue due to its accessible kids’ playground. However, our experience was marred when it came time to settle the bill. We had separate payments and payment methods, and we paid R3000 in cash, which we had carefully calculated. Unfortunately, the waitress did not count the money in front us and later returned with an incorrect amount. We requested to view the CCTV footage to clarify the discrepancy, but the footage was unclear. We suggested that the store consider installing higher-quality cameras. The manager’s response was disappointing, as they became aggressive, insulted us, and threatened to call security. It is worth noting that the bill had already been settled, and we were simply seeking to understand what had transpired. The manager’s behavior was unprofessional, particularly given the significant amount we had spent. Additionally, the staff were overheard gossiping about us, and we did not receive the face painting service we had requested for the children. I am writing to express my disappointment and to request that you investigate this incident and take corrective action to ensure that customers receive the level of service they deserve.
