ROTTEN STEAK!!!

We ordered takeaway from Red Oak Spur Malvern on Saturday 3 December 2022. We collected the food and returnes home. I had ordered a 300g Cheddamelt Steak with veg. After I took my first bite of the steak, the most disgusting taste I have ever tasted. The steak was ROTTEN! It tasted like a decomposing animal would smell. I immediately went to the bathroom and vomitted. I contacted the store who then offered to send me another meal to keep me happy. The person didn't bother to ask what the the order was and just asked how I would like the steak done. The store didn't contact me again after promising to contact me when the driver leaves. I called back 50 minutes to find out where the food was and they just rep**** that he had left already. He arrived 10 minutes later and I gave him back the rotten food. When I opened the box, I found a 200g cheddamelt steak (paid for 300g) with chips and onion rings (ordered hot veg). I called the store again and they said they would replace it the following day, but I declined the offer. By already sending rotten food and then try to patch up the situation by sending the incorrect food, I couldn't trust them any longer.

I spoke to Sayonee the following day where she prefusely apologised. I asked the store the previous evening to tell me what happened and why the food was rotten as I was concerned that it might have poisoned me (luckily it didn't), they never called back on the same evening. When I asked Sayonee, she didn't know and said she woild find out. She called back on Sunday afternoon and informed me that the staff had switched off the fridge on Friday night and didn't bother to switch it on again. So, the meat was in fact, rotten.
