****** and **************
This morning I took my family for breakfast at the above mentioned spur restaurant as we were at the beach. Upon our arrival at reception area, we noticed two white males standing behind the counter. I immediately suspected that they had to be the managers but to my surprise, we were not even greeted by these gentleman. It almost seemed that we were invisible to them and we proceeded towards the waiters that we standing further inside the restaurant. All of a sudden, I heard a voice behind us saying to waiters who just so happened to be black, take these people to a table and as I turned around, I noticed that it was the younger of the two white males that was standing at reception. This gentleman had an unbearable smell, almost like someone that hasn't washed for sometime. After being seated and we have placed our order, I noticed something that was very disturbing to me and my wife. The two white males was escorting all the white costumers to their tablets and even taking drink orders from them. I also noticed that the white waiters were also being assigned to these costumers while all non white costumers were handed over to the black staff to be taken to available tablets. Further more, we also noticed that the white managers were all over the black staff if they were caught standing around while the white waiters were left to do as they pleased. The young white managers even went to wipe the table so that the white costumers could move from their current table to another table. The same service were not being offered to the non white costumers by these white managers. It annoyed us seeing how different both the black staff and black costumers were being treated by these white managers. To us it felt like black staff and black costumers were being discriminated against. We were unable to enjoy our meal because of what we had witnessed today and I will never take my family to this spur restaurant again. It felt like being back in the apartheid era again
