Preferential treatment for Owners friends

I was waiting for a table at Spur in Rosebank. While waiting in line for 20 minutes. One of the owners friends came in requesting a table. And when he was told there is a line he threatened to complain to the owner. Thereafter he was moved to the front of the queue. When I confronted the manager he made as if they had a booking despite me hearing the whole exchange. And he said I should just leave if I don't like it. All the waitresses agreed with me but the manager was just continuing to lie. Disgusting preferential treatment.
