Positive critism

Absolutely shocked at the level of service that I experienced at the Newcastle mall branch. Best thing in the menu was the Windhoek beer. I had the hake and prawn meal. Hake was under done, prawns were chewy and chips were burned.

I'm not one to complain in a hurry but I opted to discuss this with the manager. Reason being that if underdone fish is served to customers it could result in someone falling extremely Ill.

The manager in fairness was extremely polite. He did assure me that he will address the matter with the kitchen manager. He then I believed at the time out of politeness told me that he will redo the prawns and hake and have me take it away as a sign of goodwill. This was not the case as when I returned home my takeaway box only had my initial order.

Guys, whilst it will be a long long time until I visit a Spur branch again I encourage the Spur team in Newcastle mall branch to perhaps learn from the guys in the pmb branches, both at Cascades as well as Liberty mall branch.

Furthermore, do not make promises that you cannot fulfill. Seriously, the clients that come through pay their hard earned money at your branches. 48.90 for a Windhoek, however in retrospect it was the best thing I had on your menu.
