Poor service at Tiber Wolf Spur, Garden Route Mall, George

My wife and I went to Timber Wolf Spur at the Garden Route Mall in George yesteday for lunch at about 13:08. We ordered and after a long wait our food was eventually served. Unfortunately the food arrived cold and they also had the order wrong as I had ordered baked potato but was given chips instead. I told the waiter and after a further wait she brought my plate back with the baked potato without any butter or sour cream. She then said that she would bring it but went to other tables instead where she served other customers. At this stage I discovered that my food was even more cold than before. We called one of the managers who took both our plates and promised that she would deal with it. After a further 20 minute wait, they returned with our food but it was completely cold even after the long wait and promise that they would get it sorted. What made it worse was that they did not even bring any butter or sour cream. When the manager eventually returned to our table with the butter and sour cream it was already 14:10, more than an hour since we entered the restaurant. One of the other customers opposite us also returned her food at that stage and she told me that it was also cold. The manager did not even bother to offer to replace our meals but instead only offered to let us take it as a take-away instead, without charging us for it. We were sent home hungry and very disappointed from the restaurant instead. This really spoiled our day as this was the worst experience at any Spur restaurant ever and we will never return to this place. We drove more than an hour from Knysna to this place and we ended up having to go to another place to eat, albeit very hungry as we were forced to have a late lunch at almost 15:00. I am also really disappointed in the quality of the food as the meat was under seasoned, tasteless and bland and both the meat and potato had a stale taste as if it had been prepared much earlier, perhaps the day before and just seemed to have been re-heated several times. I have been a loyal Spur customer for a long time but if this is how I'm valued and treated as a customer, I would rather take my business somewhere else. I have written a review on the Spur website last night and have given them time to respond before writing a review on this platform but unfortunately they haven't bothered to respond.
