Poor service and time delay

Terrible service. We took a party of 17 hungry family members for a Monday burger special at Spur. It was to celebrate 4 birthdays and a staff function. Arrived at 18:30pm. Put our name down at the door under 'Cindy' for 20 people. We were only seated at 19:40 and ordered drinks and food straight away. Our drinks were almost finished when our food only started arriving at 20:50pm. This is simply unacceptable. We spoke to the white blonde female manager on duty and simply got a sloppy clich? apology which does not suffice waiting from 18:30pm to 20:50pm for our food. She did not attempt to make up for the poor service by offering discount, free dessert or anything of the sort.The kids were hungry and uneasy and the service was disgraceful. We would like an apology and to have the meal over again for free with less fuss and drama next time.
