Poor service and bad attitude from waiter

My boyfriend and I had dinner there last night and the service was appaling to say the least! He ordered the rib burger and I ordered the schnitzel combo, a few minutes later the manager informs me that they do not have bread crumbs so they cannot make the meal I had orderered, so I order the enchilada. We start noticing that a table close by (which ordered later than us), got their meal and my boyfriend still had not gotten his burger. My meal arrives and we ask the waiter where my boyfriend's burger was, he says he told the manager to tell us they did not have the rib burger patty, we call the manager and he says the waiter had not notified him of the burger not being available. Manager apologises but the waiter seemed he could not have been bothered, he did apologise but he was very cold and none of them offered any form of compensation. I am utterly disgusted at the service we received!
