Poor service

Sunday afternoon 19th Nov 2017 my family and i decided we would like to visit the Spur in 14th ave in Constantia Kloof We were all happy and started to relax while waiting to be served. Our drinks order was then taken my Mother ordered a glass of boschendal wine when our drinks arrived at the table my mother quickly realised the colour of her wine was different she asked the waiter is this the correct wine and the waiter confidently rep**** yes ! once a sip was taken of the wine she realised it was the wrong wine we asked the waiter again ids this the boschendal wine she now seemed confused and said she will go ask the guy who works at the bar ! Our waiter then returned and said sorry they out of stock of Boschendal so the guy at the bar just poured something similar well well well Spur how do you compromise your customers experience like that a glass cost around R35 and the guy at the bar poured a cheaper wine costing in the mid 20's my question is if we did not spot it we would have paid the higher price for something that was never recieved. ! My mother was total put of by what has happened and bordered a completely different drink a manager came over and apologised and said the had the wine in stock and insisted on pouring the wine when he could clearly see new drinks was ordered for our inconvenience we were offered an apology. After the wine incident the wheels on service and bad attitude really came off We waited more than 40min for the kiddies food i had to ask the waiter for the food and when i looked over to the kitchen the food was already done ages ago because my son said daddy the food is never this cold can you ask them to warm it !! Same procedure i had to go through when we waited for our main meals i asked the waiter whats the delay she said my wife ordered a well done steak now we placed our order 1:40pm our food arrived 14:30pm when glancing over at the kitchen staff a lady at the back was really not in the mood for our waiter as she tried to hurry them up with the food! Food arrived ice cold we all suffered due to the piece of steak that cooked over an hour ! I then had enough we normaly let things slide but we were taken for a ride i could see the frustration in my family as they all just wanted to leave we requested take away containers and left and finished our meal at home.! Before i left a 2nd manager came over and i explained to her the dissapointment we suffered she offered to go warm my food wow R1020.90 was spent in that spur well thats the last time my hard earned money goes down the drain like that.
