Play Area
My wife and I met some people there yesterday and had our 2 yr son with us. The play area in general is a good idea, but the layout is totally idiotic.<br> <br> There is only one person who is looking after the kids, also you have to crouch in order for you to see your child playing underneath the mezzanine. There is no proper / easy access for parents / grown ups to get up on the mezzanine if your child happens to get stuck or hurt. It happened twice with us yesterday that our son couldn't find his was back down. No help was offered even when he started crying hysterically.<br> <br> Lastly, your children will be fine if they are 5 and older. Older children bully younger kids and take stuff off them. My son had two toys with him that was his. On 2 separate occasion did older kids take it from him.<br> <br> Like I said. Good idea poor execution. I can guarantee you that even the managers will complain if they took their toddlers there.
Thank you for sharing your frustration about the play area at Golden Bay Spur. We recommend that children between the ages of 0 - 2 years old be overseen by an older sibling or parent as this is a rather tender age to be left in the play area where they possibly cannot see a fami**** face.
Child experts recommend that there be one PCA (Play Canyon Attendant) per 20 children. We will follow up with the Golden Bay Spur to ensure that this rule is being followed.
