Overall disappointing experience

I am very sad to write this review on the Spur at Ushaka in Durban. Despite the nice ambiance & the waitress willing to change the TV and put the soccer on, the meal was not up to standards for Spur. The meal arrived, i ordered a rump steak 200g, no garnish on the plate, no tomato/onion lettuce piece, the plate was plonked down looking very bare and unappetizing. The waitress hadn't even realized... I ordered a side of mushrooms to replace the missing garnish, & still asked if it was available as an added extra -as by now the waitress still hadn't noticed that my meal was incomplete - The waitress brought mushroom flavored sauce in a gravy boat. Which i didn't request. The Spur was not busy & it was not near closing time (it was evening time) the waiters start mopping & cleaning around us & others, who are in the middle of a meal. Slopping the wet mop around, the whole area smelled like cleaning products that the food ended up tasting like it. It was quite unpleasant. I rather enjoy Spur & am willing to pay the extra cost for the experience Spur offers you when you eat there. But not at this Spur. Many Thanks
