Noisy, unproffessional and not worth the money.

<p>I took my dad out yesterday for a fathers day meal at spur at the gateway shopping mall. One would assume that we would enjoy a nice meal were we could sit and talk and indulge in the food, i was surely mistaken. I cant understand how you have all that staff dancing and literally screaming when you have hungry patrons seated that havent been served. Whats even more frustrating is that when they dance, they scream so loud, with us being so hungry, we ended up with headaches!!The staff wasnt even dressed in appropriate uniform hence, we didnt even really know whom to call to serve us. We did get served however, but unfortunately, it was probably the most tasteless matured 500g lazy aged steak ive eaten. I ordered medium rare and it came well done. My dad ordered a medium 300g rump and his came well done aswell. Even the spinach and onion rings had no taste. My mums meal was cold and looked as though it was left aside for a while. I couldve easily taken that R580.00 and spent it somewhere else, infact, in the future, id probably go to steak & ale or butcher boys - atleast they know how to make a steak and people can eat peacefully and get good service. I have been going to spur for years now and have even built friendships with previous managers including Leonard whom used to work there. This however is going to stop and i will take my money elsewhere!! extremely dissapointed. P.S, the only reason we stayed and ate was becuase we were so hungry - my dog did enjoy most of the steak though!</p>
