Negligence by Child Care Assistants

On 5 March my family went to Spur Shelley Beach at approximately 6pm to celebrate my niece's 2nd birthday. They could not get a table close to the play area and therefore asked the 2 child care assistants to pay extra attention to my niece. The 2 assistants were busy chatting to each other and hasn't noticed that my niece had walked out of the play area and right out of spur. She had wandered off to the movie area. Luckily there was somebody coming out of the movie area who recognised her and brought her back to her parents. My family was understandably upset and called the manageress to explain what had happened. She said that she would talk to the 2 assistants. She, however, did not come back to my family and neither did the 2 assistants apologise for their incompetence. I emailed Spur customer careline that same evening and got no response this far and hence my email to you. I shudder to think of what could happened if she wasn't found by somebody we knew. Would never want any parent to have a similar experience or worse and therefore I think that this matter should be addressed.
