Monday Waffle Special

I visited the Spur at Brooklyn on Monday or the waffle special, we were seated and our order was placed at 13:55, at around 14:15 the manager came to our table to let us know that they had a problem as the waffles was not cooked inside but 2 of the 3 was made and they are busy with the last one, at around 14:30 we had still not received anything including the 2 that was made, the manager came back to us saying she didn't want us to wait any longer and that they new mixture for the waffles was the problem and it was not being cooked right, I feel that this was deliberate as the waffles was on special, if the mixture was a problem how was the 2 waffles done or was that just a lie, we have wasted our whole lunch hour sitting and waiting for nothing and not even a glass of water was brought to us. To top it all of the waitress never even came to explain or apologise for the long wait. I think if spur wants to have specials than their staff should be willing to accommodate no matter how much the item costs.
