Manitoba Spur - An Absolute Joke!

About a week ago, I went to the "Manitoba Spur" at Pinehurst Centre in Durbanville, to take some food and warm clothes for my teenage daughter, who has recently started training there. It was what looked to be an extremely quiet evening, i.e. one, maybe two tables at most. I walk to the door, not even entering the Spur, and as luck would have it, or so I thought, my daughter was standing cleaning cutlery or menus or some such task associated with the restaurant industry, right next to the door, so I discreetly caught her eye, at which point, a "manageress" swiftly approached me and informed me, after asking what I was doing there, that I was not allowed to enter the premises to see my own daughter.

At this point I was shocked and practically speechless, embarrassed on behalf of the so-called "manageress".

I asked her, after a few moments of silence, whether she was being serious, as I found this behaviour not only extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, but also hostile and malicious. She was literally blocking the doorway, it was absolutely egregious.

Her reply: "Yes. You can wait till her shift ends (3hrs+ later) and speak to her then."

This was when I realized I wasn't talking to a reasonable/rational person, and decided to leave it at that, not wanting my daughter to be treated even worse, due to me making a scene of some kind.

Manitoba Spur at Pinehurst Centre, all I can say is, the behaviour that some of your "managers" exhibit is absolutely abhorrent, disgusting, disrespectful, and unacceptable. You SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
