LOYALTY POINTS
I was at the Spur the other day and then they told me that i cant use my voucher on my card because the system is offline and they also could not credit my points. why is this???

In order to claim a voucher or accumulate points your card it needs to be swiped or the card number needs to be typed in on the system, however this can't be done if the store is offline (system off). However there is a backup process to ensure that the customer does not lose out on points and can still claim a voucher if need be.
In the event that the store's system is offline they need to contact customer care, request that the voucher be claimed on the store's behalf and manually discount your bill. In order to ensure your points still gets accumulated, the store needs to right down your card number and manually add your points once back online.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this may have cause and will certainly take this up with the store.
